PHYSIOTHERAPY

Ultimate Performance Lifestyle was co-founded and continues to be managed by Nazleen Reed, a qualified Physiotherapist passionate about helping clients alleviate pain and increase their level of movement long-term. Striving to achieve these goals defines how we approach physiotherapy.

Clients visit our Peterborough physiotherapy clinic suffering from a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions impacting their joints, tendons, bones or ligaments including:

  • Upper or lower back pain

  • Shoulder pain

  • Neck pain

  • Hip and knee injuries

  • Sporting injuries

  • Ankle strain

  • Foot problems such as plantar fasciitis

  • Osteoporosis and arthritis

We believe physiotherapy should be personal - because what’s causing your aches and pains, how your injuries impact your lifestyle and how they can be effectively treated requires an individual approach. So we want to learn about your pain from your perspective, before we move to a physical consultation.

It means we take the time to help you understand why you are experiencing pain, the actions causing it and how these actions could be adapted - this could be as simple as adjusting how you sit at a desk or hold your dog’s lead.

It means we work together with our clients to develop personalised treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, so they fit with the person’s lifestyle. Our plans often incorporate therapy, exercises and some recommended lifestyle adjustments aimed to enhance movement, reduce pain and support surgery / injury rehabilitation long term.

Finally, it means we’re focused on helping you maintain your health. To complement the treatments offered, we also run a weekly program of Physiotherapist-led Modified Pilates classes, specifically designed to help clients suffering from muscular imbalances to better self-manage their conditions on an ongoing basis.

The Ultimate Performance Lifestyle team of Physiotherapists includes members that have worked in the NHS and private sector. Through their careers, different team members have gained experience in using Physiotherapy to support neurological, respiratory, women’s health, orthopaedic conditions, occupational and sporting injuries, post-surgery and amputee rehabilitation.

All of our Physiotherapists are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, regulated and registered with the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) and all of our Physiotherapists that offer Acupuncture are members of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).

We are proud to be trusted as the official Physiotherapists for the Peterborough Phantom’s Ice Hockey team.
