At Ultimate Performance Lifestyle (UPL), our Post-Natal Pilates classes are taught by fully qualified Physiotherapists who specialise in safe, effective postnatal recovery.
This gentle, physio-led class is designed to help new mums rebuild core strength, improve posture, and regain confidence after pregnancy, all in a calm, supportive, and baby-friendly environment.
Why post-Natal Pilates?
Pregnancy and childbirth place incredible demands on your body. Muscles stretch and shift to make room for your growing baby, which can lead to weakness, changes in posture, and reduced stability, particularly through your core and pelvic floor.

Our postnatal Pilates class has been carefully created to help you:

We also focus on Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation), a common condition where the abdominal muscles stretch and separate during pregnancy. Our physiotherapists guide you through specific exercises to safely close the gap and support your long-term recovery.

We understand how important it is for new mums to feel comfortable and supported. That’s why we keep our classes small, calm, and flexible and yes, babies are welcome!
After each class, the studio stays open for you to relax, enjoy a complimentary drink and pastry, and connect with other mums in a welcoming, understanding space.
When Can You Start?
You can join our post-Natal Pilates classes from around six weeks after giving birth (or once cleared by your healthcare professional). Before starting, we offer a complimentary physiotherapy assessment to ensure the class is right for you and tailored to your needs.
