The Ultimate Performance Lifestyle team are 100% focused on supporting every client so they can achieve their very best.
Our experienced and highly qualified Physiotherapists and our Sports Massage Therapist provide a range of injury prevention, rehabilitation and hands-on treatments, including deep tissue massage, to aid mobility and performance – so clients can better manage work related or postural problems, sports injuries and general aches and pains.
All of our Physiotherapists are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, regulated and registered with the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) and all of our Physiotherapists that offer Acupuncture are members of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP). Our Physiotherapy team members have built up a wealth of experience, some of which have worked in both the NHS and private sector, and different members of the team have gained experience using Physiotherapy to support neurological, respiratory, women’s health, orthopaedic conditions, occupational and sporting injuries, post-surgery and amputee rehabilitation.
Our approach is to really hone in on the very specific problems suffered by each individual client. We want to understand your lifestyle and the particular set of problems you are experiencing as they are likely to differ to everybody else.
By applying specialist knowledge and training, we can then help you understand why you are experiencing pain and the actions causing the pain. We then design a treatment plan aimed to achieve long-term improvement, that’s tailored to your particular requirements. The treatment plan is likely to include recommended therapies, exercises and easily to incorporate, suggested changes to your daily life.
Focus on Long-term Health
Because we are focused on empowering clients to manage their own health long-term, Ultimate Performance Lifestyle offers a program of Modified Pilates classes. Taught by a trained physiotherapist, so each movement can be adjusted to meet the client’s specific requirements – our clients tell us time and again that these classes are the key to them continuing to improve and remain pain free.
We also strongly believe in strengthening the body from the inside and in the importance of mental health, so we also run Hatha Yoga classes. By holding physical poses with controlled breathing, our classes aim to provide an opportunity for meditation and relaxation.
Created in 2012 by Founder Nazleen Reed, a Chartered Physiotherapist, the Ultimate Performance Lifestyle clinic continues to attract clients from across the Peterborough and Huntingdon area, and Nazleen is the official Physiotherapist for the Peterborough Phantom’s Ice Hockey team.
